Staff Training

The Trauma Camp Basics course is our comprehensive online training for educators and school staff who are ready to build a strong foundation in trauma-informed practice in their schools. Participants learn about both trauma and resilience, essential neurobiology, regulation and de-escalation approaches, relational interventions and much more. This core training is your kick-off to building high-impact classroom strategies that create lasting change for teachers and their students.

Reflective Groups

Schools have the best outcomes happen when their staff have space to reflect, adapt, and grow together. Reflective Groups are an opportunity for smaller staff groups to meet regularly with a trained Facilitator to receive more hands-on support with things like Case Consultation, Emotional or Regulatory Support, and further Psychoeducation. These small-group sessions are designed to help educators deepen their practice, navigate specific challenges, and get more individualized support navigating and problem-solving real-time challenges.

Brave Rounds

In medicine, Grand Rounds are a time-honored practice where professionals gather to analyze cases, explore topics, and refine their approach to patient care. Brave Rounds bring this same collaborative, real-time professional development model to trauma-informed educators in the making.

A Brave Rounds subscription grants members access to live online case examinations, topic-specific trainings and lectures every month, allowing them to deepen their trauma-informed practice with a larger collective of professional learners.

Understanding trauma isn’t just for educators—it’s essential for families, too. Our Parent & Caregiver Learning license provides schools the opportunity to extend a tremendous healing resource to the parents and caregivers within their community.

Formulated from Pia Mellody’s core trauma treatment curriculum at The Meadows (one of the premier trauma treatment programs in the US), this course provides parents personal access to the valuable knowledge, tools and insights that support both individual and familial healing, restoration, and transformation.
